Our Process

THE VEHICLE WRAP PROCESS AT WRAP ‘N TAG

QUOTATION

You’ll begin to request a quote by filling in our online contact form. In order to ensure a prompt quote, be sure to provide as much information as possible. We require information such as year, make, color and model of your vehicle. We also need to know whether you prefer a partial wrap or complete wrap. Our team will be able to work with you to reach a product and price point that you are happy with.

In some cases, before an accurate quote can be reached, we may send a member of our team to physically measure your vehicle, trailer, RV, boat, or motorcycle. Prompt arrangements will be made if this free measurement/consultation session is a necessity.

DESIGN

Once your deposit has been received, we begin the design process. Your project will be handled by an account rep who will carefully manage your car advertising or large format project from start to completion. Detailed information is collected, such as photos of the actual vehicle being wrapped. This will provide the creative staff of designers with important details about your vehicle. Obstacles such as moldings may need to be taken into consideration. Concepts will be discussed and passed on to our team of designers. At this point we will begin to provide some initial designs that will be reviewed with you. The designs are laid out on digital schematics of your actual vehicle and emailed to you in PDF or Jpg format. This will give you a very good idea of what the vehicle wrap will look like upon completion. These proofs are checked by you for proper spelling and accurate phone numbers etc.

PRODUCTION

After the design has been approved by you, we begin the production process. We have a Mimaki large format printer that can output your vehicle wrap according to manufacturer’s quality specifications to ensure a durable, attractive vehicle wrap or other large format project. (We’ll wrap you vehicle using 3M Controltac Vinyl, a top-of-the-line material that comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty. Other projects, such as banners, wall graphics, and window visions, all use different types of vinyl. We will explain to you which vinyl we use and why) Our purpose built equipment outputs and laminates long lasting wraps. We monitor the print quality and lamination during this phase and ensure that output is of the highest standards.

INSTALLATION

Installation can make or break a vehicle wrap or fleet graphics project. This is why we have only the best installers applying yourvehicle graphics or large format project. The vehicle is prepared and cleaned prior to installation. The temperature must be within 3M specs. The vinyl is never stretched into groves, which causes lifting and tenting, it is always tucked. Safe primers recommended by material manufacturers may be used to prevent lifting in troublesome areas. We finish the wrap by sealing every seam. This is a step that many sub-par installers tend to skip. This little extra step protects the seams from the elements and ensures the longevity of your wrap. Installation typically requires two full days to complete depending on the complexity of the vehicle.
