PRODUCTION
Your wrap or large format images will then be prepared for print. The images will be enlarged to the actual size of your vehicle and printed on specialty vinyl. (We’ll wrap you vehicle using 3M Control-Tac Vinyl, a top-of-the-line material that comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty. Other projects, such as banners, wall graphics, and window visions, all use different types of vinyl. We will explain to you which vinyl we use and why) We just purchased a brand new, state of the art printer that was built specifically for our large format purposes. We watch the print to ensure quality. Once the printed images are dry, we’ll laminate the images for a glossy, long lasting finish. Next, we are ready to install!
INSTALLATION
The installation process is very important. We’ve hired the most experienced installers in the area to become responsible for applying your graphics. Before we begin, the exterior of your vehicle will be carefully cleaned. We’ll remove any siding or similar decorations to ensure proper fit and functionality. Most often, your wrap will be installed in our garage to ensure that the environmental temperature is within the vinyl manufacture’s specs. A purpose-built sealant recommended by material manufacturers will be applied along the seams and edges. This prevents lifting and is a step that many sub-par installers tend to skip. This extra effort protects the seams from the elements and ensures the longevity of your wrap. Once the graphics have been applied, we will replace any exterior parts that had been removed earlier. Depending on the complexity of your vehicle, installation may require up to three days to complete. And that’s a wrap!
